Arthur Samuel Baccanari, 50, passed away peacefully with his mother by his side, in Dunedin, Florida on March 25, 2017. Born June 2, 1966 in Washington, D.C., he was the son of Nina Nobilio Baccanari and the late Ross Patrick Baccanari, deceased March 11, 2016, and the grandson of the late Patrick and Louise (Ferrara) Baccanari, and Arturo and Veronica (Prestandrea) Nobilio.

Arthur is survived by his mother Nina, former wife Rebecca Tutsock Baccanari, brother Patrick A. Baccanari and his wife Melinda, his only nephew Ross Thomas Baccanari, his aunts and uncles: Carole Baccanari, Paul Condurso, Connie and Larry Crupi, Rosemary and Mike Pantazis, Stella and John Graves, Anthony and Mary Nobilio, and many cousins and family  friends. In addition to his father, paternal and maternal grandparents, Arthur was preceded in death by his aunts and uncle, Grace Condurso, Liborio (Sonny) and Marilyn Baccanari, other great aunts and uncles, and cousins- including angels Stephanie Nobilio, Joey Crupi and Joey Caminiti.

Arthur ( Arty) was a 1984 graduate of John F. Kennedy High School in Silver Spring, Maryland. Following his high school, he attended Montgomery College, served in the U.S.Navy, and worked in sales the most of his career. Arthur had a big heart and enjoyed life to the fullest- gregarious,cheerful and generous! Arthur was the current President of Roma Lodge 71, OSIA, a member of the Knights of Columbus (Rosensteel Council 2169), and a member of the Elks Lodge (Frederick, MD.)

The family will receive friends on Friday, April 7, 2017 from 5 pm to 9 pm at PHILIP D RINALDI FUNERAL SERVICE 9241 Columbia Blvd Silver Spring,Md 20910(one block west of Georgia Avenue off Seminary Road) Mass of Christian burial Saturday, April 8, 2017 at 12:30 pm at Holy Rosary Catholic Church 595 Third St. N.W. Washington, D.C. 20001. Entombment Gate of Heaven Cemetery Mausoleum.
