Kamil M. Rafeedie (Age 86) died peacefully on Sunday, March 7, 2021; beloved husband of late Mary Rafeedie for 57 blessed years; father of Joyce (Steve) Sanquist, Basil (Debbie) Rafeedie, Nancy (Nicholas dec.) Tentzeras; brother of Naheel Rafeedie; preceded in death by brothers Essa and Richard Rafeedie. Also survived by his grandchildren Michelle, Jessica, Stevie, and Megan; great-grandchildren Cora and Matteo and many relatives and friends. Due to the current COVID-19 restrictions, a private funeral service limited to the immediate family on Thursday, March 11, 2021 at 7PM at St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church, 4335 16th Street, NW, Washington, DC 20011. Visitation is permissible between 6PM and 7PM, at the church and open to the public. Please keep in mind, all restrictions and safety procedures will be taken during the visitation hour and the funeral service.
