We regretfully announce the passing of Steven Henry Karoley, 36, of Silver Spring, Maryland. Steven passed away suddenly on February 28, 2022.
Steven was born to Henry George and Marjorie Sue Karoley on December 20th 1985 in Silver Spring Maryland at Holy Cross Hospital. He was baptized and confirmed and a member of the Colesville United Methodist Church. An independent and vibrant personality from the beginning, Steven was an excellent student and athlete and played soccer at MSI. He was a lifeguard and had American Red Cross CPR, AED and Professional Rescuer Certifications. Steven graduated from Springbrook High School and attended classes at Montgomery College. Steven was a skilled constructor and repairer of commercial swimming pools. He was a self taught artist and created custom jewelry which he sold at many Art Festivals. Steven is survived by his father Henry and mother Marjorie, as well as brother Michael.
Family and friends are welcome to attend the visitation which will be held at the Colesville United Methodist Church; 52 Randolph Road, Silver Spring, MD, in Anderson Hall, on Monday March 14, 2022 at 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM. The funeral and graveside service will be held on Tuesday March 15, 2022 at 12:00 noon at the Colesville Cemetery; 51 Randolph Road, Silver Spring, MD There is no parking at the Colesville Cemetery, which is across the street from the church, so you can park in the church parking lot or on Randolph Road.
