The passing of BILJANA BUDJEVAC (9/16/1934 - 9/21/2020) is mourned by her husband of 60 years, Mihailo Budjevac, daughters, Jelena and Julijana, and son-in-law, Larry.
Born in Belgrade, in the Kingdom of Yugoslavia, to Vitomir and Slavka Mihailovic, Biljana moved to the USA where she worked her entire life to preserve Serbian traditions, folk art and foodways. She shared her erudition, creativity, and passion for everything from her homeland with her daughter's friends, husband's colleagues, neighbors and communities in Pittsburgh, Orlando, and Washington, DC.
She died at home with her family. She was much loved and is already profoundly missed.
