On Tuesday, October 15, 2013 of Arlington, Va. beloved husband of Anna Huko, father of Lucy Jennings (Jack), Heidi Miller (Steve), and Natalie Green (Dan), grandfather of Nick, Erika,and Karena Miller, and Matthew, Michael, and Laura Jennings. Mr.Huko was born in the Ukraine in 1919 and immigrated to the United States in 1951.He was a master cabinet maker for Smither and Co. for more than 30 years and was widely regarded throughout the city for his ability to create Old World designs and moldings. Memorial services will be held at 6pm on Wednesday, October 16, 2013 at St.John the Baptist Russian Orthodox Church 4001 17th Street N.W. Washington, D.C. 20011 where funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 17, 2013 at 10 am. Interment Rock Creek Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St.John the Baptist Russian Orthodox Church or Halquist Memorial Center Arlington, Va.
