Daniel Alexander Plavnieks , loving father, son, brother, grandson and nephew, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 6, 2024. Dan is survived by his daughter Elena Grace, mother Suzanne Motta (Michael Rinaldi), father Erik Plavnieks (Pamie), brother Mark Plavnieks (Lindsey Paire), grandparents Dr. & Mrs. Jerome Motta, his aunts, uncles, cousins and numerous friends. Funeral services will be held Friday, December 13, 2024 at 11:00am at the Latvian Evangelical Lutheran Church, 400 Hurley Ave, Rockville, MD 20850. Entombment to follow at Gate of Heaven Catholic Cemetery, Silver Spring, MD. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the National Park Service or Tunnels to Towers.
