Alice Heidenberger

Alice Heidenberger born in Dresden, Germany on January 26, 1925, died peacefully at home on January 12, 2024.  She was preceded in death by her husband of 75 years, Peter Heidenberger, and her son Stephan.  Survivors include a daughter, Betsy and her two sons, Thomas and Dick, 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.  Alice lived a full and active life as a long-standing member of Columbia Country Club swimming, playing tennis and golf.  She would annually, in winter months sail with Peter in the Bahamas. It gave Alice great pleasure gardening and most of all her time with friends and family, especially with her children and grandchildren. She was a beloved mother, wife, and friend and she will greatly be missed by those who were touched by her friendship and compassion. There will be a wake at Philip D. Rinaldi Funeral Service on February 16 from 17:00 – 19:00. 

Interment will be at St Gabriels in a private family ceremony.  In lieu of flowers and in Alice’s memory please consider a donation to the Alzheimer’s Association or St Ann’s Center for Children, Youth and Families.
