Luis Placido Alban Palacios

Luis Placido Alban Dominguez 90, passed away peacefully in his home on March 14, 2018 in Rockville, MD after a long illness.  He is survived by his four sisters (all living in Catacaos, Peru), five children (Carlos Alban, Lucho Alban, Jaime Alban, Betty Espejo and Orlando Alban), and his many grandchildren and greatgrandchildren.

Luis was born in Catacaos, Peru on October 11, 1927 to his parents Tomasa and Domingo Alban.  Luis was a merchant marine for 40 years traveling across the world. In 1985, he retired at a young age to finally dedicate his time and love to his family, especially his grandchildren who he loved so dearly. After his dear wife of 55 years, Maximina Alban, passed in 2007; he traveled back and forth from Peru to Maryland to enjoy time with his family while remaining very active in his community in Peru.

A funeral home visitation will be held on Sunday, March 18 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the Philip D. Rinaldi Funeral Service, 9241 Columbia Blvd. Silver Spring, MD 20910. Interment in Catacaos, Peru.
