On Sunday, April 23, 2017 of Silver Spring, MD beloved wife of the late George D Papalios, loving mother of Irene Tsakos, Maria Poulimenos and Demitra Marafatsos, sister of John Synodinos (Suzzann). Also, survived by seven grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, and other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends at Saints Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church (meeting at St.Andrew Ukrainian Orthodox Church) 15100 New Hampshire Avenue Silver Spring, MD 20905 on Friday, April 28, 2017  from 10 am until the time of the funeral service at 11 am. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery 13801 Georgia Avenue Silver Spring, MD 20906. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in memory of Despina Papalios to Saints Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church Building Fund Ministry 701 Norwood Road Silver Spring, MD 20905.
